URGENT REQUEST!
We need at least 50 volunteers to help collect Voter I.D. petition signatures at the Brad Paisley concert at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum this Saturday night, February 6th in Biloxi.  We have gotten permission from Bill Holmes, the coliseum director, and he is setting up 2 tables at both entrances for us.
There will be 8-10 thousand people attending the concert and they will be eager to get in and get their seats.  So we must work the lines with as many volunteers as possible as they are waiting in line to get in.  We will meet at the front entrance at 5:30 p.m. and work until the concert starts at 7:30 p.m.  Right now we have 17,992 signatures from the old 5th Congressional District.  We need 18,000 plus a 2,000 signature buffer to cover signatures that will get rejected.  They must be certified by the county clerks and turned in to the Secretary of State’s office by Thursday, February 11th (7 days from now!).  We can get at least 2,000 signatures at the concert if we have enough volunteers with clipboards in hand.  We will provide the blank petition forms. Please bring 2 clipboards with you and meet us at the front entrance at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6th.
Thanks,

Theron Furr

Meeting March 15th 2010

We meet every other Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the D'Iberville Recreation Center near Brodie Road and D'Iberville Elementary school. Our meetings start with the star spangled banner and the pledge of allegiance followed by a prayer.

We have speakers at each meeting and meetings are scheduled to last about 90 minutes, however we do answer questions from time to time from members at the end of the meeting. Anyone is welcome to discuss issues and greet each other after we have dismissed the assembled members.

We do not advocate violence nor support anyone calling for violence if anyone decides to do so, they will asked to leave.

Our general membership

meetings occur every other

week as of February 1st

2010.
